Cross the Border to Eat- Funny or Sad?

The other day humphrey and I were laughing at how the Gazan people blew up the border and ran to Egypt to "munch" *crunch*crunch*crunch* So funny, yet so 'shocking"

Well today is the 4th consecutive day where the United states continues to stand in the Way of the weak, fragile, useless UN Security Council from even saying a word of censure to Israel in regards to the Palestinian population's humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. You know, the other day we were laughing at how the whole world were only verbally reacting saying that it is a "Humanitarian Crisis"... But the UN Security Council is hushed to the point where it couldn't even VERBALLY acknowledge the humanitarian crisis.

15 members of the weak, fragile, useless UN Security Council were still consulting this afternoon, trying to avoid silence in the face of this horrible humanitarian crisis caused by the Israeli aggression. I am not taking sides or saying that it is always their fault... but dude! in this situation... it is.

Diplomats were not able to go forward for a compromise declaration to end Israel's blockade on the Gaza Strip. This document is under discussion and has the support of 14 UN Security Council members, with the SOLE opposition of (of course) the United States *smile*. Miss USA claimed that she will never ever support lifting the blockade unless the resolution clearly says that Hamas was the reason for all of this dilemma.

The South African Ambassador Dumisani Kumalo said "we don't have an agreement yet, and discussions are not promising."

In addition, A report by the UNRWA - Organization for Palestinian Refugees - said Israel is still blocking humanitarian aid in food, medicines and other vital items for more than a million people in Gaza.

"The humanitarian crisis has not been reduced," said UNRWA spokeswoman Elena Mancusi in Geneva. Mancusi said the fuel authorized by Israel under international pressure for the only electric power plant in Gaza will only be enough for the plant to work on Saturday.
This means this territory will be in blackout once again, and with its hospitals and other vital services paralyzed. Mancusi stressed that supplies for basic needs for the Palestinian population are also still completely blocked by Israel.

tsk tsk tsk is all I have to say

*Munch*Munch*Munch*Crunch*Crunch*CrunCh
